App name: Alive Innovations
Meta App ID: 939102255814003
Alive Innovations, the operator of Alive4Health (“Alive Innovations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides tools that authorized administrators use to manage business-owned social media accounts and related activity through Meta platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how the Alive Innovations Meta app and its supporting services (the “Service”) collect, use, store, disclose, and delete information obtained directly from authorized users or through Meta platform application programming interfaces (“APIs”).
This policy applies to the Alive Innovations Meta app. The general Alive4Health website privacy policy applies separately to ordinary use of alive4health.com.
1. Information We May Collect
The information available to the Service depends on the Meta products that an authorized administrator connects and the permissions that the administrator grants. We may process the following categories of information.
Account and authorization information. We may receive Meta user or business identifiers, account names, usernames, profile information, roles, permissions, access-token metadata, and information about connected business assets. We do not publish access tokens, app secrets, or other credentials.
Business-owned social media assets. We may receive identifiers and configuration information for authorized Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Threads profiles, Messenger accounts, WhatsApp business accounts, ad accounts, catalogs, or other Meta business assets.
Content and engagement information. When a feature is enabled and authorized, we may process business-owned posts, captions, images, videos, comments, replies, mentions, reactions, direct messages, message status information, and related metadata. We may also process drafts and approval records created through the Service.
Analytics and commercial information. We may process reach, impressions, engagement, publishing status, campaign or ad-performance information, lead-form information, catalog information, and other business analytics when the corresponding feature is enabled and authorized.
Technical and security information. We may collect API request identifiers, timestamps, endpoint names, response status, webhook event identifiers, browser or server information, authentication events, audit records, and error information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. Secret values are not intentionally written to ordinary logs.
Information provided directly. We may receive information that an administrator submits when requesting support, configuring the Service, creating a draft, approving an action, or contacting us.
2. How We Use Information
We process information only for legitimate business and operational purposes connected to the Service. These purposes may include:
-
authenticating authorized administrators and confirming their permissions;
-
identifying and connecting approved Meta business assets;
-
reading, drafting, scheduling, publishing, or managing authorized social media content;
-
retrieving analytics and preparing reports for authorized business users;
-
monitoring comments, messages, mentions, replies, leads, or webhook events when those features are enabled;
-
presenting actions for human review and recording approval before execution when required;
-
preventing duplicate, unauthorized, or misdirected actions;
-
protecting credentials, investigating errors, maintaining audit records, and enforcing security controls;
-
complying with Meta platform requirements and applicable law; and
-
responding to support, privacy, or data-deletion requests.
We do not use Meta Platform Data to make medical diagnoses or infer a person’s health condition. The Service is not intended to collect medical records or sensitive health information through Meta. If a person voluntarily places sensitive information in a public comment or private message, authorized account administrators may see that information as part of the communication. We do not use such information to create advertising audiences or health profiles.
3. Automated and Artificial-Intelligence-Assisted Processing
Authorized administrators may use the Service to help draft posts, summarize account performance, classify incoming activity, or prepare suggested replies. When artificial-intelligence-assisted processing is enabled, the Service uses only the information reasonably necessary for the requested task. The Service is designed to keep human approval controls for consequential actions such as publishing, messaging, deleting content, or changing advertising settings unless an administrator has expressly approved a narrower automation rule.
We do not permit the Service to make medical decisions or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals based solely on automated processing.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information only as needed to operate and protect the Service or as required by law. Recipients may include:
-
Meta Platforms, when the Service submits or retrieves information through authorized Meta APIs;
-
hosting, database, security, monitoring, and artificial-intelligence service providers that process information on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations;
-
authorized administrators, employees, or contractors who require access to operate the relevant business account or respond to a request;
-
professional advisers or authorities when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or establish legal claims; and
-
a successor organization as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
We do not sell Meta Platform Data. We do not share Meta Platform Data with data brokers. We do not use Meta Platform Data for surveillance or to determine eligibility for employment, housing, insurance, credit, education, or similar high-impact services.
5. Cookies and Website Tracking
The Alive Innovations Meta app may use essential cookies or similar technologies when needed for secure sign-in, session management, fraud prevention, and basic operation. Ordinary activity on alive4health.com, including the site’s ecommerce and analytics technologies, is addressed by the Alive4Health website privacy policy.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the Service requested by authorized users, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing business-account management tools, comply with legal obligations, or act on consent where consent is required. A user may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the authorized Service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements. Access credentials are retained only while the relevant integration remains authorized or until they expire or are revoked. Temporary copies of content and event data are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed for the requested workflow, subject to lawful retention requirements.
When an authorized account is disconnected, permissions are revoked, or a valid deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify the associated information unless continued retention is required by law or is necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or the protection of legal rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Planned and implemented controls include encrypted transport, protected server-side credential storage, least-privilege access, approved-asset allowlists, webhook-signature verification, action approvals, audit logging, and procedures for revoking access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should protect their Meta accounts, use strong authentication, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. International Processing
Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and process information in accordance with applicable law.
10. Your Choices and Data-Deletion Requests
You may disconnect the Alive Innovations app through the relevant Facebook or Meta account settings. Disconnecting the app stops future access through the revoked authorization, but it may not automatically delete information previously received by the Service.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with the Alive Innovations app, email info@alive4health.com with the subject line “Alive Innovations App Data Request.” Include enough information to identify the relevant Meta account or business asset, but do not send passwords, access tokens, medical records, payment-card information, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority over the relevant account before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. After verification, we will delete or de-identify information covered by a valid request unless retention is legally required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal claims.
11. Children
The Service is designed for authorized business administrators and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service. If you believe a child provided information to the Service, contact us so we can investigate and delete it when appropriate.
12. Third-Party Platforms
Use of Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Messenger, WhatsApp, and other Meta products is also governed by Meta’s terms and privacy notices. Meta operates independently and controls its own processing. This policy does not replace Meta’s policies or the policies of other third-party services.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, security practices, or Meta platform functionality. We will update the date at the top of the policy and provide additional notice when required by law.
